Energy Date Balls

These date balls are a great snack for kids and adults. I take these little puppies with me during a mid-morning or afternoon trip in case one of us becomes hungry during errands. I find the peanut butter/date combination curbs our hunger long enough to skip the fast food places on the drive home. I have used other ingredients making energy balls, but this receipe is the favorite in my household.

Ingredients

Place all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until all ingredients are mixed well. Use a small scoop (I use a melon baller scoop) to form balls. Place the balls on parchment paper then roll the balls in the extra coconut flakes and enjoy! Some other ingredients you could use to create your own unique combination are rolled oats, honey, and cocoa powder. Be sure to refrigerate the leftovers to enjoy later.
